The objective of this program is to integrate research outcomes with education and
training programs that develop the knowledge and skills required to implement sustainable
tourism principles and technologies. This objective has been achieved through collaborative
education and training projects that are relevant to industry needs at local, national
and international levels.

The Director of STCRC Education Program, Professor Beverley Sparks, has the overall
responsibility for the strategic, financial and operational implementation of the
program.
